Fulfillment Clerk

The Association of the Miraculous Medal (www.amm.org), a nonprofit religious and devotional organization, is currently seeking a Fulfillment Clerk.

Qualifications:
Must acquire a good working knowledge of the computer codes used on donor mail. Must know how to fulfill donor requests for cards, gifts, and any other articles prepared by the team.

Must acquire a good working knowledge of the postage equipment used to update the mailing information on the donors packages. Must know which rates are the most cost effective for service rendered. Must be able to lift boxes which weigh up to 35 pounds from the floor to table top level occasionally.

Must acquire a good working knowledge of an electronic cash register, Easy Post, and be comfortable with the other software programs on a personal computer. Must be able to use the computerized donor inquiry system with enough competency to answer questions that may arise when filling orders. Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in routine and procedures.

Must work well as a team member and be able to communicate with members of the team as well as other Association staff and management.

Must work 40 hours per week on a regular and continuing basis. When working at the Gift Shop, a later start time and later end time is required.

Duties

Under the direction of the Production Team Leader, the Fulfillment Clerk works in the fulfillment area including the mailing counter and the gift shop, as well as with the automated mail function of the Association’s direct mail appeals.

1. Prepares acknowledgements for mailing. Inserts Shrine Card replacements or fills          orders for Shrine Cards, religious articles and catalog order processing as required        for donor mail. Packages items, weighs them, applies the proper amount and type of      postage and places them in mail trays or UPS pickup bags.

2. Process, sorts, and mails all acknowledgements and orders.

3. Prints cards and certificates for donors.

4. Requisitions and keeps an adequate supply of cards and religious articles on shelves

5. Checks gifts for damage, assembles and counts items received. Package rosaries,        medals and chains for orders.

6. Process postage statements through postal website.

7. Process internet and gift shop orders, balance money from each export.

8. Assembles Promoter literature, Shrine cards, and Perpetual Membership folders.

9. Order and distributes office supplies.

10. Provides customer service at the Gift Shop including greeting visitors and assisting        customers with requests and purchases.

11. Provides support to the automated mail operation including operating an ink-jet              printer, inserter, and other machines related to the automated mail area.

12. Performs other related duties as required.
