We have great news to share with you! A mom can finally push her child in a stroller to the grotto, kneel and pray because there are no more steps. A dutiful son can push his wheelchair-bound parent to visit the grave of a much loved Vincentian priest or brother. A grandmother with a walker can enter the Shrine because it is now handicap accessible. A young family can learn and explore their Catholic faith and a teacher will soon be able to teach her entire Confirmation class the importance of Mary with 14 different life-size images of our Blessed Mother along the Rosary Walk. This place is so prayerful, reflective, healing, and now accessible because of people like you!
We are just over two years into the restoration/renovation project for the historic Church, National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, grotto and grounds in Perryville, Missouri. And through the beautiful generosity of members of the Association of the Miraculous Medal (AMM), we have raised over $5 million toward our $6 million goal. In addition, the construction project itself is nearly complete except for the items listed and a few Marian statues still being carved in Italy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We received 2,000 donations from members in every state of the union and from other countries. If you have contributed in any way, financially and/or spiritually, you have our eternal appreciation and prayers for the intercession of our Blessed Mother for the graces you seek through her Son Jesus.
If you have been unable to contribute financially but would still like to do so, we certainly welcome your assistance as we finalize this effort. This is our last campaign letter! The campaign started with numerous naming opportunities, many of which are no longer available. However, the remaining possibilities are described here.
Please continue to pray for a successful final phase of this campaign, for fellow members of AMM, and for the Association itself. We hope that you and your loved ones are able to visit this incredible spiritual site in the not too distant future. If circumstances won’t permit a personal visit, we hope you will view pictures of the changes and other information about AMM by clicking here.
Kindly contact any of our three mission advancement representatives if you have any questions or would like to discuss naming opportunities. Just call Krista Koishor at 573-768-7015, Pat Vetter at 573-768-7018, or Sherry Clark at 573-768-7017.
O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
Sincerely yours in Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Kevin McCracken, C.M.
