It’s back to school time! Please join AMM members in remembering all students and educators in prayers. Click here to share the names of those you’d like remembered in the daily Mass and prayers offered at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal throughout the coming school year. For the suggested offering of $10.00 each, you may also request the popular “Backpack Mary Medal” to give as a thoughtful back-to-school gift for a special child, grandchild, or teacher. As an even more powerful expression of your faith and devotion, request up to 100 free, blessed Miraculous Medals that you can distribute to nearby Catholic schoolchildren, educators, and family members. Each comes on an attractive fold-over card explaining its origin. (Browse AMM’s online gift shop for more medal options and our new “Back to School” Votive Light card.) As Fr. Kevin’s letter reminds us, the most helpful knowledge is that which is gained in context of a life of faith-filled prayer.

Mother’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to seek Mary’s intercession for someone special in your life by sending one or more of our Mother’s Day Spiritual Remembrance Cards. The beautiful cards promise your recipient(s) a special remembrance in the Masses offered here at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal — both on Mother’s Day and throughout the month of May. You may burn a Votive Light for your loved one as another sign of your love.

As always, any offering you include is deeply appreciated and will help spread devotion to Our Lady and draw more people closer to her Son, Jesus. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter to learn more.

Sharing Easter Blessings
Please take a moment to read Father Kevin’s Easter letter telling of the Association’s work to share the joy of the Resurrection. As part of AMM’s ministry to members, we offer beautiful Easter cards you can request and send to loved ones. The card assures the recipient of a special gift of prayer on Easter Sunday and remembrance in the Easter Octave of Masses.

Any petitions you wish to send will rest near Mary’s National Shrine Altar to be remembered throughout Lent and our Easter celebrations. Also, you are invited to join hundreds of members in our AMM family who are requesting a Votive Light to represent their spiritual presence at the Shrine here in Perryville, Missouri.

We are an Easter people, infinitely blessed by God “ … who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...”  1 Peter 1:3
