This year’s hardships and isolation may have left many people feeling too beaten down to march to the manger with much of a joyful heart. From December 16-24, your petitions will bring you spiritually present to the foot of the manger here at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, where you’ll share in our members’ hope-filled anticipation of the Savior’s coming. A cherished Christmas tradition at our Lady’s Association is offering Christmas cards for you to send as spiritual gifts to relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone else in need of God’s loving grace. The cards will not only warm the hearts of those who receive them, but will also grant your recipients a share in an octave of Masses beginning on Christmas Day offered here at our Lady’s Shrine. This year we are excited to have three new Christmas cards available. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the faith of Mary as Mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Any intentions you send us will be placed at our Lady’s Shrine for remembrance in the Christmas Octave beginning on Christmas Day and ending on January 1. This Valentine’s Day let the Association remember you and your loved ones in the 8:00 a.m. Mass at the National Shrine in Perryville, Missouri.
