Your prayers for dearly departed loved ones are a powerful spiritual gift that can hasten their journey toward full and everlasting union with God. Join the Association’s observance of All Souls Day at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on November 2. Sharing the names of deceased relatives and friends assures them of a special remembrance throughout the month of November as well as during the month of the anniversary of their passing. In his all-powerful existence that transcends the limits of earthly time, God can apply the merits of your prayers to assist your departed loved one. What a powerful gift this is! You may also request a Votive Light  to burn for your deceased loved ones. Father Kevin’s letter tells more about All Souls Day.

Pray. Act. Commit. These are the three words Fr. Kevin uses for simple steps in making any decision, especially when it comes to leaving a legacy for the future.  The first Rays of Light Newsletter for 2019 explains how to pray, act, and commit when it comes to making a lasting gift to the Association of the Miraculous Medal.  You will also read about annuities and how they can work to make a stable investment for yourself. With a little bit of planning, you can leave behind a treasure of prayer, intercession, and discipleship for generations to come.

Nearing Completion
We are just over two years into the restoration/renovation project for the historic Church, National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, grotto and grounds in Perryville, Missouri. The construction projects are nearly complete, and a few Marian statues are still being carved in Italy.  We thank you! If you’ve not been able to contribute financially but would still like to do so, we certainly welcome your assistance as we finalize this effort. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter containing more information about the restoration/renovation project.
