Is a dear friend or relative in need of healing of body, mind, or spirit? The Association invites you to entrust that person to the loving care of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. 

Request Healing Remembrance Card(s) to let your recipient(s) know you’re thinking of them. You may also request cards to keep on hand for future use.

Each card announces the consoling gift of spiritual remembrance in prayer at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Offerings you may choose to make when sending the cards enable AMM to spread devotion to Our Lady and support the ministries of the Vincentian priests and brothers of the Congregation of the Mission.  

Finally, if you send AMM the name of your recipient, your loved one will be remembered in the daily Mass and prayers here at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, Missouri, for as long as there is a need for healing. 

On Friday, May 10, AMM begins its annual Pentecost Novena of Masses here at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
 
Please join your AMM family in prayer, adding your intentions alongside theirs. The petitions you share will be entrusted to Our Lady and rest near the Shrine Altar throughout the novena, concluding with the Solemnity of Pentecost on Sunday, May 19.

You may also burn a Votive Light — a sign of the fire of your love in the Spirit.

Pope Francis urged the faithful to reflect upon how well we receive the priceless gift of the Holy Spirit:

 “ ... do I welcome the Spirit’s harmonious and creative power, the ‘grace of wholeness’ that he inspires, his forgiveness that brings us peace? ... Do I foster reconciliation and build communion or [cause] hurt and division and heartbreak? ... If the world is divided, if the Church is polarized, if hearts are broken, let us not waste time in criticizing others and growing angry with one another; instead, let us invoke the Spirit. He is able to resolve all of this.”

May Our Lady obtain for you and your loved ones a generous share in the gifts of the Spirit to draw you ever closer to her Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. 

On Sunday, May 5, spiritual pilgrims from near and far traveled to Perryville, Missouri, to honor Our Blessed Mother during the annual May Procession. See a few pictures from this years May Procession.

Spiritual Director Father Clay Kilburn, C.M., led the pilgrims in a solemn procession from the Shrine Church to Mary’s grotto while praying the Rosary. There, a heart-shaped display created with thousands of rose petals received from Association members was presented to Our Lady. A crown of flowers was placed upon her head.

After the May Procession, a Spanish Mass with live music was held inside the National Shrine Church.  Vincentian Father Prudencio Rodriquez was the presider.  All in attendance received an investiture in the Miraculous Medal.

Members’ petitions were placed near Our Lady’s Shrine Altar after the procession where they will be lifted up in the daily Mass and prayed for throughout the month of May. You may add your special intentions for remembrance this month here.
