Because of your support, our Lady’s Association is meeting the spiritual needs of 192,000 members from all 50 states and 35 countries through a monthly average of 2,100 phone calls, 500 emails, and 3,500 personal letters of acknowledgement. We have been able to distribute 750,000 blessed Miraculous Medals around the world, and supplied hundreds of donated and new rosaries to school-aged children across the United States who would otherwise not have one of their own.

In 2009, the Association committed itself to reaching out to the Hispanic Catholic community in the United States. At this time we send 15 Spanish postal mailings to our members. A Spanish website is available through the Association (www.ammespanol.org) along with a toll-free telephone number (1-800-360-2104), and we will begin(began) sending emails in Spanish & Spanish store/catalog. Since 2009, our Hispanic membership has grown to nearly 15,000 members in 2014. Currently two bilingual specialists are helping us to expand and grow our program, with a third specialist to be added soon. If you know someone who speaks Spanish and they would like to know more about the Association and the work we do, please have them call 1-800-360-2104. Our staff will be happy to assist them.

As part of our service to meet the needs of our members, tour guides are provided to visitors at the historic Saint Mary’s of the Barrens Church, built in 1827, and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal located inside the church. Tours of the church are available at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, and at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on weekdays. Group Tours are by appointment only. There is no charge for tours. (Closed on holidays and holy days.) Each year hundreds of visitors to the Shrine enjoy the opportunity to pray and meditate both in the beautiful old church and around the peaceful grounds.

Engaging Association members in works of charity is at the heart of our mission. YOU are helping the Association spread Mary’s message in English and Spanish to adults and children seeking to know more about Mary.
