Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

September 5, 2022

The first letter is from California.

Dear Father,

I received the Miraculous Medals you sent me. I make jewelry on which includes a Miraculous Medal. Some of the medals I keep to distribute to people I feel are in need. One such lady works at a facility where I live. The lady was so appreciative and overjoyed to receive the medal. She was going through some tough times and took the medal as a reminder that God was going to help her. I intended to give this particular medal to someone else, but felt called to give it to this particular lady.

The second letter is from Pennsylvania.

Dear Father,

My father-in-law was going through a difficult time in the 1970s. His mother gave him a Miraculous Medal which he wore daily. Recently when he became ill, he gave his Miraculous Medal to his wife to wear. My father-in-law was taken home by Our Lord on November 27, 2021. We were told of his death on November 28, 2021. We then realized that November 27 is the feast day of the Miraculous Medal and November 28 is the feast day of Saint Catherine Labouré. I truly believe my father-in- law was ushered into heaven by Our Blessed Mother, and Saint Catherine Labouré because of his deep devotion and love for the Miraculous Medal.
