Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

I'm a sinner, and I've been given the gift of God's grace many times. Several years ago, I felt a heaviness, along with sorrow, for those who are ill and suffering. I felt helpless with them in mind. I asked myself how I could help them. I started writing down names of people I had heard were ill. Some I knew and others I did not. It's become a mission for me. I take these names before Our Lord. The list continues to grow. Recently, I visited an acquaintance who had ALS. I listened to a priest on a radio program, who advised everyone to get a "Miraculous Medal." I immediately told my friend to get the medal. He did. I prayed for a physical miracle for him, but he received a spiritual one instead. He praised his illness publicly because the illness granted him a relationship with God he never had. He became Catholic shortly before he died, and brought his entire family into the church. I discovered the first apparition concerning the Miraculous Medal was in 1830, and ironically my birthday is July 18. The coincidence is puzzling to me. I've been wearing the Miraculous Medal for a while now, and I know I've come closer to Mary and her Son because of our relationship and her intercession. May God bless all who read this.

The second letter is from Connecticut.

Dear Father,

When my mom died suddenly 25 years ago, I found in her jewelry box a beautiful Miraculous Medal. I decided to keep it as a remembrance. I have been wearing her medal every day since, and I know Our Lady has been watching over me, even through my bout with breast cancer. I know she intercedes my prayers to keep my family healthy and safe also. I cannot be more thankful.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
