Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

Our young teenage daughter was diagnosed with anorexia over five years ago. We were distraught and worried. We were losing her physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our whole family, including her brothers, struggled. On Mother's Day in 2020, my husband gave me a Miraculous Medal necklace. I had been praying the Rosary for help and guidance, and he thought this gift would be especially helpful for me. I began wearing it religiously, and praying to Mary to intercede for my daughter to regain her health. After a year of therapy, she broke through her illness and continues to be a happy, healthy young woman.

The second letter is from Massachusetts.

Dear Father,

When I first met my wife, I noticed that she wore a Miraculous Medal. I told her that my Irish mother was also devoted to the Miraculous Medal. Years later, our 45-year-old son fell from a ladder. His ankle was shattered. My son, who is a rock of a man, was in great pain. Increased amounts of pain medicines did nothing for him. The doctor asked the nurses to remove the binding on his ankle. As soon as they did this, you could see the pain fade on my son’s face. On the way home, my wife told me that she had asked Our Blessed Mother to relieve the pain our son was suffering. She said that prayer as the two nurses came into the room to remove the binding. We were both in awe of what we had just witnessed.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
