Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

June 13, 2022

The first letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

This is my public testimonial and personal act of thanksgiving to Our Blessed Mother. Last night my 12-year-old son was very ill with chills, fever, a cough, and a quickly rising temperature. I suspected COVID, but couldn't get him tested. I knew Our Holy Mother would help. I prayed and placed a Miraculous Medal necklace on him and took his temperature minutes later to discover that his fever was almost gone. The next morning his temperature was normal. He won't remove the Miraculous Medal and even prayed a Rosary with me. It has been almost 24 hours now and we are both fine. Praise be to God and Our Heavenly Mother!

The second letter is from Massachusetts.

Dear Father,

While my brother was ill for many months, I had been bringing communion to him. On the last Sunday in January 2021, he was in hospice and was bedridden, yet alert. He received communion and then asked a very odd question, "Who said the Mass?" I responded shortly after he stated he wanted to get out of bed and sit at the dining room table in his chair. His children and grandchildren were there at this time visiting with him. Sitting in his chair, he smiled and said he was so blessed and happy. Then he started gasping for breath. My brother surprised us all as he began to say the Hail Mary. We all joined in, and when we got to the part, "…now and at the hour of our death," my brother took his final breath. He was a good and decent man who served God and his country. I have not been the same since witnessing this miracle.
