The first letter is from New York.
Dear Father,
As infants, my sisters and I were dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. I have received many blessings from her. I continue to wear the Miraculous Medal. At the age of 12, I had a diving accident, which should have left me paralyzed. Yes, I was wearing Our Lady's Miraculous Medal. Years later, I became a young widow. I was so sad and distraught that I called out to Our Lady for help, asking her to let me know she was with me. Two weeks after this, I was in my friend's salon when a client, who I happened to know, came in. This woman had just returned from a trip to Europe. She walked up to me and said that I kept popping into her mind. She then handed me a Miraculous Medal and said she felt compelled to give it to me. To this day, I wear Our Lady's Miraculous Medal and have given one to each of my nieces and nephews. In my heart of hearts, I know she is Our Heavenly Mother. I am thankful for her heavenly protection.
The second letter is from Pennsylvania.
Dear Father,
When I was 32, a doctor's error prevented me from having children. I had begun the process of investigating overseas adoptions. At the same time, I was trying some methods for a domestic adoption, which are very difficult. I received a call regarding a domestic adoption, but was then informed that a family member would be taking the child. I prayed to Mary, I said, “Mary, if I'm meant to be this child's mother, you will make it happen.” Two days later, I received the call to come for the child as the family member changed their mind about the adoption. That was 23 years ago. I wear the Miraculous Medal daily and truly believe that Mary interceded on my behalf to be this child's mom.
