The first letter is from Pennsylvania.
Dear Father,
I have worn a Miraculous Medal since I was in the 4th grade. I received one as a present for my feast day. When I was 13, my mother was expected to die. We had a record of Saint Catherine and the Miraculous Medal which I played so often that I almost knew it by memory. I prayed, asking to Saint Catherine and to Our Blessed Mother to intercede and to save my mother. My mother lived another 30 years! I am now in my 80's. I will always be grateful to Mary for interceding on behalf of my mother.
The second letter is from Texas.
Dear Father,
I am new to Catholicism. I decided to reach out to Our Blessed Mother. In addition to praying to God, I began to pray the Rosary and say the Hail Mary when I felt the pangs of addiction coming on. Mary has interceded and taken away my desire to use drugs. I cannot express enough the gratitude and surprise that I feel. I have struggled with addiction my whole life and even in moments of short term sobriety, I have never been able to overcome that constant pull towards using drugs that every addict is plagued with--until now. It is still early in my recovery, but to wake up without that constant craving is a true gift and miracle. I owe it to God and Mary.
