Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from Massachusetts.

Dear Father,

Recently I had given up on praying as I felt my prayers weren't being heard. My physical health was not good and my daughter was not having success in adopting a child. Then I thought about all the ways Our Lady had helped me in the past. For example, my late husband and I were taken from a cruise ship to a hospital in Guatemala. He had pneumonia, was on a ventilator for nine days and doctors were not hopeful. He also had a heart condition. It was a Catholic hospital and the nuns pinned a Miraculous Medal on him. One doctor brought me a rosary and put a picture of the Blessed Virgin in my room. We all prayed. He had what we all considered to be a miraculous recovery. We had eight more wonderful years together. Our Lady also interceded for someone in the family to refrain from alcoholism after many failed attempts to become sober. Another loved one was saved from a suicide attempt and is very happy 30 years later. Thank you Blessed Mother for your intercession. I am grateful for all the graces received. I will always turn to you when in need.

The second letter is from Texas.

Dear Father,

Please pray for my mom who is recovering from spinal surgery and for the soul of my dad who passed away last December. This was our first year without him during the holidays, but we knew that through Our Blessed Mother's intercession, it would all be well. I am a loyal member of the Association of Miraculous Medal and I know that when praying with faith and confidence to Our Lady, she will always take the time to listen and intercede for us. I believe in the powerful intercession of Our Blessed Mother and her Miraculous Medal.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
