Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from Missouri.

Dear Father,

I have no doubt that it is through Mary's intercession that my husband is alive today. He had COVID-19 in 2020. He was placed on an ECMO machine and he spent 48 days on the ventilator. We prayed the Rosary every evening as a family. Some days we would drive to the hospital where he was being treated and prayed the Rosary outside his window. The staff at the hospital put a heart in his window so that we would know which room he was in since we were unable to go inside and be with him. So many friends, family, and even strangers joined us in praying for him. Again, we are so grateful for Mary’s intercession with her Son Jesus for the healing of my husband. God is good!

The second letter is from New Jersey.

Dear Father,

I was in an automobile accident. The other driver ran a stop sign catching my car in the front passenger side. The airbag knocked me unconscious. The impact knocked my car to the opposite side of the roadway, during commuter traffic. My car then traveled diagonally back across the roadway where I regained consciousness just as I was rolling into a tree. My nose was broken by the airbag, I had a neck injury, and much bruising, but I was able to walk away from the accident. My car was totaled. I always wear a Miraculous Medal and crucifix on the same chain. The Miraculous Medal made an imprint on the back of the crucifix. The chain was unbroken, but the medal was gone! It wasn't in my clothing, in the car, or on the street. I couldn’t help but think that Mary interceded. Just relating this again makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I surely was blessed that day.
