Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

My brother was in a VA nursing home for many years. During that time, he always joined the group who prayed the Rosary at the VA home chapel. He always told me that if you said the rosary faithfully and prayed to Mary (I had also given him one of the Miraculous Medals to hang from his rosary), that Mary would be with you at the time of your death. Eventually, he ended up in hospice and I got to know the hospice nurses by name. The early morning that he died, I did not recognize the hospice nurse that was with him as I had not seen her before. I asked her what her name was and she replied, "Mary."

The second letter is from Minnesota.

Dear Father,

One night I received some bad news and I needed to talk to someone. I felt completely isolated and alone. I was crying and sobbing and just walking around my house, confused and distraught, not knowing what to do. As I was walking past my refrigerator, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a magnet. It was the Blessed Mother magnet that I bought at a store. As I stared at the beautiful magnet, I said loudly 'Mother Mary, please help me!' Seeing that magnet was meant to be. About a minute or so after I called out to the Blessed Mother for help, the tears ceased and a wonderful peace and overwhelming sense of calm overtook me. The problems were still there, but I knew that I was not alone and that I never would be again.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
