Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from Washington.

Dear Father,

My 85-year-old mother had a fall which shattered her leg. I immediately asked for prayers through the Association. Mom came through her surgery, but when discharged to a rehabilitation home, she went downhill fast, catching severe infections. To make matters worse, she was transferred to another hospital that sent her home too early. Through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, mom was admitted to yet another hospital where she received the care she desperately needed. Mom was discharged after two months of setbacks. At her follow up appointment, her doctors were amazed at how far she had progressed. Mom was able to return home, and made a rapid rehabilitative recovery. I can’t thank Our Lady enough for interceding and helping my mom.

The second letter is from New York.

Dear Father,

In 2014 we were faced with many problems-- housing, work, and health issues. I tried with much effort to seek employment in the healthcare field, but no hospital would hire me. My professor from nursing school was asked for a recommendation for a private duty nurse for an individual with Alzheimer’s disease. I was hired within 15 minutes of the interview. Since starting this new job, I have bought a new home, paid off all our debt, and even saved some rainy day money. I wear a Miraculous Medal day and night. I pray to Our Mother Mary for her intercession. Mother Mary is still giving to me! Each night I pray the Rosary for peace. I know Our Lady is working very hard to help me have what I need, not what I want. I am alive because of her. I have given out so many Miraculous Medals and pamphlets from your Shrine. Thank you, Mother Mary, for all that you do for me.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
