The first letter is from New York.

Dear Father,

For many years, I have been asking for prayers for our two sons who have become addicted to drugs. Through God’s grace, and our prayers to Mary, our sons are beginning to transform their lives. Our first son had entered a treatment facility and our second son has gone through detox and has claimed a personal healing from the Lord. They both want to live healthy, clean lives. The power of prayer truly had an impact. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We never stopped believing in the power of the Lord and his good timing.

The second letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

My six-year-old daughter gave me a Miraculous Medal and asked me to wear it. I added it next to my Saint Benedict medal around my neck. I used to wear the Miraculous Medal every day, but lost it at some point. I put the medal on after a near-accident in a snowstorm when a front-end loader came careening down a steep slope and missed me by inches. It swerved to avoid me and crashed into a guardrail. I prayed the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary on the way home. Thank you Holy Mother of God for keeping me safe and in your loving hands!
