The first letter is from Illinois.
Dear Father,
My daughter became ill and started screaming in pain. As I offered comfort to her, I began to pray the Rosary. She began to quiet down and found a sense of peace. With Mary’s intercession, I believe my daughter’s suffering was eased. I am beyond grateful, and my faith is growing stronger everyday as I witness the power of prayer—even in little things. While my life has been far from perfect, my faith and prayer assures me there are better days ahead. I look forward to growing closer to Jesus and Mary, and sharing this with my family so that we can grow in faith.
The second letter is from Canada.
Dear Father,
My mother was a devoted member of the Association of the Miraculous Medal for a very long time. Every year she would ensure that the names of her children and grandchildren were placed at the Shrine for remembrance. When she got older and could no longer take care of this, I took over for her as a Promoter. At one time or another, I wavered and forgot about the Association and the Miraculous Medal. My mother died at Easter time. The family thought this was a fitting time for our Lord to call her home. When I returned to work I was amazed to find a message from a friend that included a prayer and a picture of the Miraculous Medal. For the first time in a long time, I remembered the Association. I took this as a message from my mother to continue sending the memberships for my family, and I ave done so since.
