Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

May 4, 2020

The first letter is from Maine.

Dear Father,

My daughter-in-law was diagnosed with lung cancer for which she underwent chemotherapy treatments. When she had her last checkup, the doctors couldn’t find any sign of cancer. We truly believe this is a miracle. I want to thank Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and the saints for their intercession for my daughter-in-law.

The second letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

Sometime ago I wrote to you with such a heavy load on my mind. At that time, I really didn’t know how I could go on. Ten years ago, I had surgery to remove a brain tumor. I survived, thank God, but it left some unbearable side effects I had to take many medications, but I still suffered with the side effects from time to time. I was also worried about my 24-year-old son. He was laid off from his job. He could not find work and was very depressed. He was spending most of his time in his room. Our Lady heard my prayers and intercede for us. I started a new medication which is helping me feel so much better. My son found employment, and although it’s not his dream job, he’s working and paying his bills. He doesn’t have to rely on me which has helped his self-esteem. My son even met a nice girl at his new job, so I am thankful and hopeful about the future. I want to thank the Association for praying for me, and many thanks to our Blessed Mother. I tell everyone I know to keep the faith, and believe. Our Lady is always close beside us and ready to help.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
