Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

Last year was very difficult for our family. My husband was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and was given less than a year to live. My son was also having a very difficult time finding employment. I have always prayed to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, and she has always helped me in my time of need. When my husband of 30 years passed away, I felt lost, lonely, and depressed. All I did was cry. I prayed to our Lady for the strength and courage to go on without my husband, and that she help my son find employment. It has been six months now since my husband’s passing and I am doing so much better, and my son was just hired at the hospital where he wanted to work. I thank our Lady so much for hearing my prayers and for her intercession.

The second letter is from Pennsylvania.

Dear Father,

I’m writing to let you know how grateful I am for all of your prayers and concern for my son. Also, my special thanks to our Lady and our Lord for the favor granted to him. I know that our Lady interceded with her Son who answered my prayers. I have been dedicated to our Blessed Virgin Mary all of my life. My son is doing very well since his double kidney transplant. Since his surgery, he has been going once a week to the hospital for his follow-up exams. If the visits continue to go well, he will go only once a month. My son is getting dialysis treatments three times a week to get his new kidneys working normally. He is also on many medications to help him recover his health. My son looks so much better with the new kidneys functioning like they should. Please continue to pray for his health and for my intentions. I am so grateful to our Lady and her Son.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
