Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

I learned that the medal on my First Communion rosary is the Miraculous Medal. I was reconciled with the Church after being away for 20 years. It has been a long and winding road, and our Blessed Mother has been with me the entire time. I know this for a number of reasons, but it was confirmed when I was searching for my First Communion rosary that I thought had been lost forever. It had been with me the entire time. Mother Mary was protecting, guiding, and interceding on my behalf the whole time I was away from the Church. I’m eternally grateful and cannot thank her enough.

The second letter is from Texas.

Dear Father,

Something has always attracted me to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. I don’t know what, but I have faith in her love for me. Before my granddaughter was born, the doctors told my daughter that there was something wrong with her baby. I prayed to our Lady during the entire pregnancy and when my granddaughter was born, she was very healthy. Now at 10 years of age, she is the most precious person in my life. When my grandson was born prematurely, I asked our Lady to watch over him. He spent three weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit after he was born. The doctors were not optimistic about his future. Our Lady again heard my prayers, and he is now a healthy little boy. I have a Miraculous Medal ring that I wear constantly. Every time I look at it, I’m reminded of the beautiful graces our Lady promises to each of us.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
