Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from Kentucky

Dear Father,

I was able to be with my mother before she passed away. Mom and I prayed the rosary together, all four sets of mysteries, and the novena to our Lady just before she died. Mom and I held hands the whole time we said the rosary. Her hand was very warm. The miracle, I guess, is this—for the last 20 years mom’s hands had always been ice cold. The last time I saw her, she had a smile on her face. I know the most Blessed Virgin Mary was with her before she died. And I just have a feeling mom is enjoying a very happy and joyous homecoming in heaven with Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

The second letter is from Wisconsin

Dear Father,

This year I celebrated my seventh year of being cancer free after being diagnosed with stage three melanoma. On the day the doctors told me of my diagnosis, I received a rosary in the mail. On it, I noticed a Miraculous Medal. I researched the medal and the story about it. After learning about Saint Catherine Labouré, I began praying to her for healing and I feel she interceded in obtaining for me a cure in my battle with cancer. My wife and I also pray the rosary daily and I know this has helped us both become better Catholics and more Christ-like in our lives.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
