Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

April 10, 2017

The first letter is from Pennsylvania.

Dear Father,

We have a summer home in New Jersey. When Hurricane Sandy damaged so many homes and flooded the streets, we were sure that our summer house was flooded. Our street floods during regular rains. Many of our neighbors received damage from the storm. The water did not even reach our front porch. There were piles of debris in our backyard. While putting the debris into large trash bags, we found a statue of our Blessed Mother in the debris. I have great devotion to our Blessed Mother and I feel that it was a message from her that she watched over the house and protected it from the storm.

The second letter is from Washington.

Dear Father,

My 85-year-old mother had a fall that caused her leg to be shattered. I immediately asked for prayers through the Association. Mom came through her surgery, but when discharged to a rehabilitation home, she went downhill fast, catching severe infections. To make matters worse, she was transferred to another hospital that sent her home too early. Through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, mom was admitted to yet another hospital where she received the care she desperately needed. Mom was discharged after two months of setbacks. Last week at her follow up, her doctors was amazed at how far she has progressed. Mom is now back home, making a rapid rehabilitative recovery. I can’t thank our Lady enough for helping my mom.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
