| Here
at Mary’s Shrine we remember Jesus and Mary in
the mysteries of their lives as we pray our annual Rose Rosary Novena.
It is the custom each day
of the novena to place a bouquet of ten roses on Mary’s
Altar. Nine of the roses represent the nine days of
the novena. The tenth rose represents you,
along with your prayers and petitions to Jesus and Mary.
If you can, join us in prayer
at the Shrine each morning at 7:45 Central Time (10:45 on Sunday) as we begin the rosary. And as we pray, we
will remember that the tenth rose in today’s bouquet represents you and your intentions. |
| October 7 - 9, at 7:45 a.m. |
The rosary will be recited before
Mass is offered at the Shrine. |
| October 10, at 10:45 a.m. |
The rosary will be recited before
the Sunday Mass in the Shrine Church. |
| October 11 - 15, at 7:45 a.m. |
The rosary will be recited before
Mass is offered at the Shrine. |

| An exciting new youth and young adult faith
opportunity is being held at the Shrine! It is called VINCENTIAN
MARIAN YOUTH (VMY)—an international association
of young people requested by the Blessed Mother herself during
the apparition to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830. |
| Faith Alive is at 6:00 p.m. in the Church |
On the second Sunday
of every month the Vincentian Marian Youth (VMY) come together to celebrate
their commitment
to Christ through Faith Alive and Eucharist Mass. |
| Eucharist Mass immediately follows Faith Alive in the Church |
The Church of the Assumption on the grounds of Saint
Mary's Seminary in Perryville, MO is the site for the gathering of Vincentian
Marian Youth. It is also called the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal,
a perfect fit for the VMY! For more information: http://www.vmy.us |
