DAY 1: Tue., April 15 - Depart New York
Depart New York for your overnight trans-Atlantic flight to Athens. Meals will be served in flight.
DAY 2: Wed., April 16 - Athens / Thessaloniki B,D
Welcome to Athens, the cradle of ancient civilization! You will be met at the airport by your guide and take a connecting flight to Thessaloniki, considered the second capital of Greece. It was founded in 31 BC by one of Alexander the Great’s generals, Cassander, who was married to Alexander's step-sister, Thessaloniki. In her honor, he named the town built in the form of an amphitheater at the head of Thermaikos Gulf.
DAY 3: Thu., April 17 - Thessaloniki / Kavala / Philippi / Thessaloniki - B,D
AM: Depart for the beautiful city of Kavala (ancient Neapolis), and from there on to Philippi, which was a Roman garrison town and the chief city in the province of Macedonia.
It was here that Paul won his first European convert, a woman named Lydia from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods. Visit the Baptistery of Lydia, the marketplace (where Paul and Silas were brought before the rulers), and the cistern which tradition identifies as the place where St. Paul was imprisoned. Return to Thessaloniki.
DAY 4: Fri., April 18 - Thessaloniki / Veria / Vergina / Thessaloniki - B,D
AM: Depart for the beautiful city of Veria (Beroea). Visit the monument dedicated to Paul. See the Bema where he stood and preached to the people of Veria. Continue to Vergina, where excavations in 1978 discovered three very important royal tombs. The most important tomb is believed to be that of Philip II of Macedonia, the father of Alexander the Great.
Return to Thessaloniki and explore this great city starting with a drive along the waterfront to the massive White Tower and nearby Triumphal Arch of Galerius, built in 303 AD. Also see St. Demetrios Church with its valuable mosaics and frescoes and drive up to the upper town which offers a marvelous view of the city. The site where the monastery of
Vlatadon was built is believed to be the location where Jason’s house once stood and where Paul was accommodated during his visit to Thessaloniki.
DAY 5: Sat., April 19 - Thessaloniki / Athens - B,D
AM: A drive through the beautiful countryside, past many picturesque towns and villages will bring you to Athens. Arrive in Athens in late afternoon.
Dinner: Enjoy a delicious dinner at a Greek Taverna in the Plaka (Old City) area. Delicious food, lots of entertainment, and a fun-filled evening.
DAY 6: Sun., April 20 - Athens - B,D
AM: City Tour
Visit Athens, one of the most glorious cities in the world and the cradle of western civilization as we know it today. For twenty-five centuries, the panorama of this city has been dominated by the rock of the Acropolis; we see the ruins of the Parthenon, the Erectheum, and the Propylae. Ascend Mars Hill where Paul spoke to the ancient Athenians about the one and only God. From here enjoy an excellent view of the ancient agora; former center of the Athenian public life. Continue to drive through the city to see the House of Parliament on Syntagma Square, the evzones in their picturesque uniforms guarding the Presidential Palace, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
PM: At leisure to explore the city on your own.
DAY 7: Mon., April 21 - Athens / Cruise (Embark ship) - B,L,D
AM: Transfer to the pier in Piraeus to embark the ship which will be your home for the next four nights as you explore the famed Greek islands. A country of a myriad of islands rising from the sea, Greece is a nation whose seafaring experience and skills can be traced back to the mists of history. On this magical cruise you will get to know the wonderful world of the Greek Islands and the great sites of Hellenistic and Roman culture.
PM: Mykonos: The first port is Mykonos which combines the dazzling white beauty of a typical Cycladic island with a sophisticated jet set atmosphere. Stroll at leisure through the white washed, flower decked alleys to the sculpture like church of Paraportiani, or along the waterfront to the famous windmills. The island has beautiful beaches and a unique town with interesting boutiques.
DAY 8: Tue., April 22 - Cruise - B,L,D
AM: Kusadasi, Turkey: This is a picturesque town and the starting point for a tour to the ancient Greek city of Ephesus, one of the most impressive and best preserved archaeological sites in Turkey, if not the world.
Optional Excursion: While exploring the marble streets you'll marvel at its past glory. See the Amphitheater, where St. Paul once preached, and the house where the Virgin Mary lived out her last days. Learn about the Great Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. See the Library of Celsus, theBaths, and the Gymnasium - all magnificent treasures of a long gone Roman city.
PM: Patmos: This is the beautiful, rocky island where the exiled St. John the Divine received the mystical Revelation which forms the last book of the New Testament.
DAY 9: Wed., April 23 - Cruise - B,L,D
AM: Rhodes: Wake up to view this fortified stronghold that was built by a Crusading Order which originated in Palestine. Stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere from the cafes on the yacht harbor.
Optional Excursion to visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic, rocky Acropolis of Lindos, with the blue Aegean beneath it and the sophisticated, whitewashed artist's colony at its foot.
DAY 10: Thu., April 24 - Cruise - B,L,D
AM: Heraklion (Crete): Your ship cruises to lively Heraklion on the island of Crete.
An optional shore excursion takes you to the Palace of Knossos, legendary home of the Minotaur, or visit the Archaeological Museum.
PM: Santorini: Sail into the naturally beautiful harbor of Santorini, one of nature's true wonders, an unforgettable experience.
An optional shore excursion by donkey or cable car will take you up to the white-washed village, perched high on the rim of an ancient volcano that erupted about 1600 B.C.
DAY 11: Fri., April 25 - Cruise / (disembark ship in Piraeus) / Corinth / Athens - B,D
AM: Disembark ship and board your private motor coach for Corinth taking the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Short stop for pictures and continue to the site of ancient Corinth, Paul's beloved city and site of his most extensive ministry. Dominated by the Acro-Corinth rising 1700 feet above the ruins, the marketplace is laid out exactly as it stood in the days of the great Apostle. See the Bema (the judgment seat) where Paul stood before Galilo and preached (Acts 18). The museum contains a superb collection of artifacts portraying life in ancient Corinth.
Continue to Cenchreae, the ancient port from where Paul departed for Ephessos.
DAY 12: Sat., April 26 - Athens / New York - B AM: Transfer to the airport for our flight home. You return with wonderful memories of a great travel experience and feeling culturally and spiritually enriched.

TOUR PRICE: Tour price is based upon current tariff and exchange rates and is subject to change. It is based upon a minimum of 20 fully paid passengers. In the event this minimum is not met a surcharge will be levied.
REGISTRATION AND DEPOSITS: A deposit (by check) of $500 p/person is required at time of registration, along with signed registration form. You will be billed for the balance which is due on or before January 15, 2008 either by check or money order.

NOTE: Comprehensive insurance is available to cover trip cancellation and interruption, baggage protection, medical, accidental death & dismemberment and emergency evacuation and repatriation. A descriptive booklet will be mailed to you upon receipt of your deposit.
AIR TRANSPORTATION: Economy class via any regular IATA carrier. Any cancellation, itinerary change or failure to use confirmed air space may be subject to penalties levied by the airlines at the time of ticketing. Air tickets, once issued, are non-refundable. This is in addition to above "Cancellation Terms."
PASSPORT/VISA REQUIREMENTS: A valid passport is required for all tour members. U.S. citizens do not require visas for travel to Greece. If you are not a U.S. citizen call the Consulate of EVERY country you will enter (even in-transit when changing planes) to check on visa requirements. ALL passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of the tour.
TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Passport, visa, insurance, U.S. Departure Tax and other airline taxes. All items of a personal nature, beverages and meals not included in the tour. Gratuities to guides, bus drivers, and Tour Escort. Optional tours, excess baggage charges, and gratuities to ship’s crew. There is no refund for unused land arrangements or any cost incurred through absence or deviation from the stated itinerary for any reason, including illness.
