The first letter is from Pennsylvania.

Dear Father,

I am writing in thanksgiving to our Blessed Mother for answering our prayers.

Our family was involved in a boating accident that could have been deadly. We were in our boat and it flipped over a small dam.

I always wear my Miraculous Medal. I prayed to our Blessed Mother for their safety the whole time. Their bodies were washed out from under the boat and they were both revived.

Another member of the family lost his wedding band during the accident. We had to go back to the scene to clean up the debris and look for our possessions in the water. We found his wedding ring right on top of the dam.

I want to give thanks to the Blessed Mother for taking care of us that day, miraculously no one was injured other than a cut knee.

The second letter is via email.

Dear Father,

Earlier this year I wrote to you with such a heavy load on my mind. I really didn’t know how I could go on.

Ten years ago, I had brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. I survived, thank God, but it left some very unbearable symptoms and side effects.

I had to take all kinds of medications, but I still had the symptoms from time to time.

I was also worried about my 24-year-old son. He was laid off from his job. He could not find another job and was very depressed. He was spending lots of his time in his room. Some days he wouldn’t even get out of his pajamas.

Our Lady heard my prayers. I started a new medication, which is helping me a lot.

My son found a job, and although it’s not his dream job, he’s working and paying his bills. He doesn’t have to rely on me, which has helped his self-esteem. He even met a nice girl at his new job, so I am thankful and hopeful that this will be a great year.

Thank you so much for your prayers, and thank you, Blessed Mother. I tell everyone I know to keep the faith, and believe. Your life can get better through our Lady’s help.
