The first letter is from Maryland.
Dear Father,
I want to thank you for your prayers for my husband who had prostate cancer. Our prayers have been answered.
After 42 days of radiation and months of healing, the doctors have found no more cancer. In six months, he will return for a check up.
Thank you God and the Blessed Mother.
The second letter is from New York.
Dear Father,
For the last two years, my son and I have been going through some difficult times. He is going to college and had started drinking, partying, and staying out late at night. As a result, his prayer life and his grades have suffered. We’ve tried to reason with him, but he’s in denial. One night about midnight, he came to me and said that he was going out. I asked him to stay home because he’d been out very late the last three nights.
He left even though I had asked him to stay home. I began to pray my rosary asking our Lady to watch over him. About 10 minutes into my rosary, the phone rang. He had been in an accident. A drunk driver had run a red light and hit his vehicle. The other car had slammed into his car, knocking him into a light pole, which fell onto his vehicle.
At the hospital, the doctors could not believe that he’d walked away from the accident without a scratch. I always kept a rosary and Miraculous Medal in the glove box of his vehicle, and later found both of them right there in the glove box.
I thank the Blessed Mother for protecting him always. Please continue to pray for my son that God will help him live a more spiritual life and continue to protect him.
