This letter is from Wisconsin.

Dear Father,

My niece has been under much stress due to possible lung surgery and consequent diagnosis of lung cancer. My prayers to our Lady of the Miraculous Medal were for her to get a clean “bill of health.”

After all our prayers, God saw otherwise, even with the intervention of his Mother. My niece does have lung cancer and must undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

At first, I thought my prayers went unheeded, but reality proved otherwise. Instead of a clean “bill of health,” our Lady answered my prayers by giving my niece a prayerful acceptance of her condition and a peace that “the world cannot give.” Her resignation to her health condition is a result of our Lady’s intervention.

God answers our prayers in ways we know nothing about and he and his Mother know what they are doing. I, in my arrogance, thought otherwise. I want to make a public acknowledgement of our Lady’s intercession and acknowledge that our prayers are answered, even if not in the way we through they should be.

I am humbled by the power and care of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and her Son!
