The first letter is via email.
Dear Father,
I would like to express my gratitude to our Lady for helping me when I applied to a private Catholic university that I really wanted to attend.
There was so much competition for the slots available, I was very uncertain whether I would be admitted.
I received my letter of admission and I was able to obtain all A’s in all my classes my final year of high school.
Thanks be to our Lady that my prayers were heard and I pray that I continue to do well in my courses and make the most out of my time at college.
It is my objective to be able to serve God in the greatest of my capacity. Thank you so much for your support.
The second letter is from New Jersey.
Dear Father,
I just wanted to thank you again for your prayers for my father. As promised, I am following up. My father is continuing his recovery, and the good news is that he is at home now.
He had a five percent chance of surviving the night after an aortic dissection. He then caught a staph infection in the hospital, and had to have his chest cavity drained twice as it kept filling up with fluid.
My father is now going in the right direction, although it will take time, as he must learn how to walk all over again and is still very weak.
He suffered no memory loss, and he can’t wait to get back to work. He had a lot to overcome and we believe he is a miracle.
A couple of his doctors are scratching their heads over his survival and recovery as well. Thank you for taking the time to email me back.
