The first letter is from New Jersey.

Dear Father,

Thank you for your very kind letter and prayers at our Lady’s Shrine. I appreciated both very much.

As I had written earlier, an x-ray showed some spots on my left lung, and I was very worried. However, I’m pleased to report that after further testing and a CT scan, the doctors decided there was nothing wrong.

I thank our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. She always comes through for me. I was very concerned about my health as I try to help my niece who suffers from multiple sclerosis. I try to do what I can for her. Since her disease prevents her from working, I also try to help her out financially. Again, thank you for all your kind prayers.I pray for those who are praying at our Lady’s Shrine and for you.

The second letter is from Michigan.

Dear Father,

Miracles do happen in our lives. My son, who had just moved to California, was involved in a five-car accident on the freeway.

His car was the third car in line. He was hit by a car behind him, which had been hit by a truck behind it. He then hit the car in front of him, and he believes the truck that caused the accident also hit him. He lost control and spun across three lanes to the right. He was on a four-lane freeway, and the accidents happened in the far left lane. Just as a tractor-trailer coming towards him in the right lane was about to hit him, he was able to drive onto the right shoulder out of traffic.

His car was a total wrec He walked away from it unharmed. He said he was wearing his Miraculous Medal that I had given him. And we believe the Blessed Mother and her Son, Jesus, protected him. I told him never to leave his house without his Miraculous Medal.
