The first letter is from Kentucky.

Dear Father,

I was able to be with my mother before she passed away. Mom and I prayed the rosary together, all four sets of mysteries, and the novena to our Lady just before she died.

Mom and I held hands the whole time we said the rosary. Her hand was very warm and sweaty. The miracle, I guess is this—for the last 20 years mom’s hands have always been ice cold.

The last time I saw her, she had a smile on her face. I know the most Blessed Virgin Mary was with her before she died.

And I just have a feeling mom is enjoying a very happy and joyous homecoming in heaven with Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

The second letter is from Louisiana.

Dear Father,

Humble thanks for answered prayers.

My husband just found the best job of his life. He lost his long time job after Hurricane Katrina and has worked at three different jobs in the intervening years.

This job was made for him and he was hired on the spot. He is sixty years old.

Starting over with such a good job is a miracle, truly a miracle.
