Dear Father,

I want to share with everyone the miracle we received after lighting a Votive Light at our Lady’s Shrine and requesting the intercession of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

A pregnant mother was in a local detention center. She became very ill. At the same time, her unborn child’s heartbeat began to slow down rapidly. They put the woman in the infirmary and gave her unborn child virtually no chance of survival.

I lit a Votive Light at our Lady’s Shrine and explained the need for urgent prayer for the mother and her unborn child.

I could not send a Miraculous Medal to the detention center so I sent her a prayer card with a picture of the Miraculous Medal on it (front and back) with the prayer to our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

The mother quickly began recovering. Her unborn child improved.

I am thrilled to report her healthy baby was safely delivered last week. The mother and baby are fine. The baby was born a bit early and weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces.
