The first letter is from Illinois.
Dear Father,
I’m writing this note to say “thank you” to the Blessed Mother.
My wife recently underwent two surgeries for breast cancer. Before each surgery I pinned a Miraculous Medal on her hospital gown.
Our holy mother and the saints looked out for my wife. I also prayed the rosary the whole time she was in the operating room. All went well.
Thank you, holy Mother of God.
The second letter is from New Jersey.
Dear Father,
I’d like to thank the Blessed Mother publicly through this letter, so that others may know of her love and goodness.
One day I was driving my used vehicle at rush hour on a very busy interstate.
Unexpectedly my car stalled and slowed down very suddenly. Thank God, I was already in the right lane and was able to move onto the shoulder quickly. Otherwise, the car behind me could have hit me and there would have been a rear end collision. I had our Lady’s Miraculous Medal as well as the Brown Scapular in my pocket.
I believe that our Lady saved and protected me. Ever since I “rediscovered” the Miraculous Medal last year, my life has taken a radically miraculous turn—not in any “dramatic” way, but rather, in subtle ways. I’m a lot more forgiving, accepting, patient, and compassionate.
I used to be very depressed and unable to focus—in short, a pack-rat hoarder, scatterbrained, chronic procrastinator-perfectionist, unable to finish tasks and move on.
Thanks to the grace of our Lady, I’ve changed for the better.
