The first letter is from Georgia.
Dear Father,
This letter has been a long time coming, but I felt it was better coming late than not at all.
I had a Votive candle burning for the better part of the last year for my son. He was serving in Iraq, and I was praying for his safe return.
He and his brigade returned home just before Christmas last year. All came home safe and just in time to celebrate Christmas with their families. It was a blessed Christmas for all of us.
Thank you, Mary, for keeping him safe, and I apologize for the delay in sending this letter.
The second letter is via email.
Dear Father,
My husband and I recently faced a serious financial crisis when we were not even sure we would have enough money to buy food or pay our carfare to work.
I prayed to our Blessed Mother for help, promising her I would wear the Miraculous Medal when I could afford to get one. That evening, while searching through one of my dresser drawers for something else, I found a Miraculous Medal that someone had given me years ago and which I didn’t even remember having.
Well, the day after I began wearing the Medal, my husband and I received a check in the mail that we were not expecting for several more weeks at least. There is no doubt in my mind that it was the intercession of the Blessed Mother that saved us at a time when we were in desperate need of help.
I am deeply grateful to God and the Blessed Mother for the help we received and will do all I can to encourage devotion to our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
