This letter is from Louisiana.
Dear Father,
Last week I sent in a prayer request for my family. I mentioned to you that my husband and I are separated right now, and our 20-year-old son had become detached from our family and was going in the wrong direction with some life choices and his friends. Please continue to pray for my son.
I’m writing today because this grace from Mother Mary is so fresh—it just happened this morning.
I had asked our Lady for financial assistance. We have waited for several years on the Road Home program for help so we could continue working on our still un-renovated house.
The Road Home program is a government entity set up to help Louisiana residents repair homes damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
I prayed specifically for help from the Road Home program because I knew it would help my husband and me in dealing with our issues.
Just this morning my husband called to inform me that he’d had a call from the Road Home staff giving us a closing date for our loan!
I just had to cry, and they were tears of joy! I know it is through Mary’s help because all the signs were there. I asked for them and she showed me that she is real and prayers are still answered.
I am so happy. I haven’t stopped telling my coworkers of this beautiful medal and Saint Catherine Labouré.
Thanks for your prayers and the prayers from the Miraculous Medal Association. You have prayed for my family and me in the past and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Please continue to pray for my husband’s strength of will as he battles his alcoholism. Also, please pray that my son makes the right choices with religion, school, respect, and for my daughter to continue to be active in our church, to be a good student, and loving daughter. And of course, please pray for good health for all of us.
I’m glad to say my husband and I will be going to marriage counseling next week, and I will be praying to Mary for us to have an understanding of each other’s needs as we grow to strengthen our love.
Please pray that our home repairs will be completed soon too. Thank you and thank our Lady.
