The first letter is from Nebraska.
Dear Father,
This letter is in thanksgiving for the Blessed Mother’s help.
Our son was able to get a job here in his home town, where he really wants to stay.
The second letter is via email .
Dear Father,
Two years ago, my father fell very ill. The doctors told us he would live only for a few weeks, maybe a few months if all went well.
We prayed to our Lady and Jesus, asking for my father to be healed, but if that were not to be, then that he would be able to live for at least 18 months to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary with our mother.
Well, Father, my brothers, sisters, and I were able to throw my parents a lovely 50th anniversary luncheon with all of their friends and my father was there in the midst of it all!
We lost him a few months ago, but he was able to spend last Christmas with my mother.
Although I am sad at his passing, I am also very thankful that through Mary’s intercession and God’s will my father was allowed to stay with us for as long as he did, especially after his original prognosis of a few months at best.
