The first letter is from Ohio.
Dear Father,
My husband asked me to write this letter of thanksgiving.
Our aunt was very ill and passed away last year. My husband had all the responsibility and decisions to make for her. He was very worried about being able to sell her condo. Around here, home and condo sales have been very poor.
One day as I was saying my rosary, asking Mary to help my husband sell the condo, a woman called and offered to buy the condo. She requested to move in on December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
With the connection of my praying the rosary and Mary’s feast day, my husband took this as a sign from Mary.
My aunt had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother, as do I. I have loved her since I was a little girl. ; I’ve been praying a daily rosary since I was 15. Thank you and God bless.
The second letter is via email.
Dear Father,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers for my husband’s cure from cancer. I’m a fairly new member of the Church, joining at Easter three years ago.
In May of last year, my husband was diagnosed with serious prostate cancer and underwent radical surgery. Before his operation I started carrying the Miraculous Medal, which I had never heard of until visiting the Miraculous Medal Association’s web site.
Just three months ago, blood tests proved my husband completely free of cancer. Our Lady gave me strength and hope whenever I was about to break down in despair.
It is through our Lady’s intercession that my husband has been healed, and I ask our Lady to shower her greatest blessings on the doctors and hospital staff who cared for my husband, and all those who prayed for us during our ordeal. I will carry the Miraculous Medal for the rest of my life.
