The first letter is via email.
Dear Father,
My husband has been disabled for several years and our savings were used up.
His mother had died without a will and the money she left behind was in disarray and contested for eight years.
I knew in a very short time we would not be able to pay our bills and I was very scared, but even with that fear, Mary gave me the grace to pray to her with confidence, and I began my little novena to the Blessed Mother.
Some nights I would be so tired, I was ashamed to offer her such poor prayers, but being the loving mother that she is she accepted them anyway.
Within four months, the entire unpleasant matter was resolved, we received funds to be able to pay our bills, and as an added blessing, there was harmony between family members where there had been much bitterness.
Thanks be to God through Mary’s Immaculate Heart!
The second letter is from Massachusetts.
Dear Father,
I want to thank you for all the remembrances in your Masses and prayers offered at our Lady’s Shrine for my son, who was so badly hurt in an accident.
I am so thankful he is now doing very well. He is home now, and wants to get back to work with my other son and my husband in the family excavating business.
He is making excellent progress. His neurosurgeon said that his recovery is “miraculous,” and I certainly agree. He had surgery on his eye last week for a torn retina, and he is still taking therapy on one hand, but he seems to meet these problems head-on, and gets through them nicely. His attitude is one that is “with God and our Blessed Mother with me, I can get completely well again.” I am so thankful for this.
His wife, daughter, and I pray for him every day. I also want to thank you for your prayers for me. I am very grateful. Would you please light a Votive Light for his continued recovery, and in thanksgiving for all the prayers and Masses he has received.
Thank you again Father, for your prayers and help to all my family in this troubled time in our lives.
