The first letter is from Indiana.

Dear Father,

I am writing with a heart filled with great joy for our Lady’s intercession.

A year ago, my daughter and her husband were told by their doctor that they could not conceive children.

Just after Easter last year, they learned that our daughter was with child.  It truly was a miracle when she gave birth to a healthy girl in January.

I had sent my daughter a beautiful Miraculous Medal to wear, and all our family prayed for her.  I said the rosary daily asking for Mary’s intercession.

    We all feel so blessed to have a child to bring to the Lord in Baptism.  She is our first grandchild and as I held and loved her, I felt there were no words that could adequately describe the joy and gratefulness I felt to God and Mary for this gift!

The second letter is from New York.

Dear Father,

This is a letter of thanksgiving.

Two months ago, my doctor found a mass on my thyroid.  After the doctor’s visit, I went for several tests.

I prayed to the Blessed Mother that it wasn’t cancer.  I wore the Miraculous Medal around my neck and prayed that everything would be all right.  After the test and a biopsy, the doctor said it wasn’t cancer.

I will continue to pray and wear the medal at all times.
