The first letter is from Virginia.
Dear Father,
Thank you for burning the Votive light I requested.
The reason I requested it to burn was for the health of a little four-year-old boy. He underwent heart surgery recently. The operation was a success and he will be coming home soon.
I am grateful to our Lady for all the favors I have received.
The second letter is from Texas.
Dear Father,
On November 15, 1943, the day before I was to report for active duty in the Army Air Corps, I visited my pastor and he gave me a beautiful Miraculous Medal with a chain suitable for my dog tags.
I’ve worn it ever since and I know that the Blessed Mother has watched over and protected me all these years. I know she protected me while I was flying combat missions in Europe in World War II.
I have a beautiful family and we have received many other blessings over the years.
