The second letter is via email.
Dear Father,
Two months ago, I was at rock bottom. I had just received a glowing annual review at my job, and had no problems mentioned in my most recent six months review, when I was suddenly blamed for a mistake our company had filed with a federal agency. I was given 45 days to improve my performance or lose my job.
My co-workers informed me that I would probably lose my job over this mistake, even though I was not responsible. I was barely making ends meet and was a month behind in my rent. I had filed for bankruptcy the year before and the garnishments to pay back my debts were hitting very hard. Thoughts of suicide ran through my mind.
Thankfully, I have a wonderful mother and sister who told me to “go to Mary.” My mom had gotten me a Miraculous Medal, so in addition to wearing it daily, I prayed the inscription on the medal to myself. I began going to daily Mass and praying for employment. Twenty days into my 45-day probation, I found a new job that was closer to home, at higher pay, and overall, a better opportunity.
My life has completely turned around and it is all because of my faith in Mary and the way she interceded for me.
