Dear Father,

This letter is in thanksgiving for answered prayers.

My husband recently had a malignant tumor removed from his left lung, and I opened my heart to the Blessed Mother for help.

I had asked you to have a Votive Light lit for him and I gave my husband a Miraculous Medal, which he keeps in his pocket at all times.

We received good news—although a portion of his lung was removed, his lymph nodes were clear. The cancer didn’t spread! No radiation or chemotherapy is needed.

Our Blessed Mother helped us again through her intercession with our Lord.

Thank you for your prayers for my husband and my family.

The second letter is from Ohio.

Dear Father,

My wife and I have worn the Miraculous Medal for years. We have both experienced our Lady’s special protection over the years and we can both name a number of instances of miraculous protection.

One such instance occurred just yesterday. My wife was working with a candle and some liquid perfume. This liquid perfume is poured into a small hollow ring, a candle sits in the middle of the ring, and the burning candle enhances the fragrance of the liquid.

When my wife bent over to light the candle, for some unknown reason, the liquid ignited and sent flames into the entire area of her face, eyes, and hair.

It has to be only because of our Lady’s special protection that my wife escaped without harm.

When I think of the burns and problems that she could have sustained, for her to experience no burns at all, this, in my opinion, has to be a miracle. We thank our Lady for her protection.
