The first letter is from Virginia.
Dear Father,
Thank you for taking the time to answer my letter requesting prayers for our son who was searching for a job. And thank you for your prayers that he return to his faith.
The months have slipped by, but I hope you will join us in our thanksgiving that some of our prayers were finally answered. My son received a written offer for a position plus a relocation package.
We are so thrilled. It has been a long difficult year. I wish I could say he is attending church regularly and found a strong faith, but not yet. At least when I mention God and praying, he doesn't brush me off. He does listen. We are also thrilled that he will be moving within two hours of our home, back into the Washington, D.C. area.
It is interesting that my prayers to the Blessed Mother for my son have deepened my own faith in the goodness of God.
