This letter is from Michigan.
Dear Father,
About a month ago, I wrote to you for prayers about problems concerning my brother and his son.
For Christmas, my family and I went to my brother's to celebrate the holyday and his birthday, which is also December 25. He told us his son would be there.
With this in mind, we worried about potential trouble. But as it turned out shortly after the first greetings, the tension passed.
As the day proceeded, good times just grew. About half way through the afternoon, I noticed a Miraculous Medal around my nephew's neck.
I recalled it to be the one I had given to him years ago. I am an optimist, but I saw a change in him. And I know it was a good change.
My brother and his wife have turned to God and my nephew wears Mary's medal. They have a new energy, a focus to try again, and I feel they will succeed because their efforts are based on prayer and answered prayers.
The day ended well. I know there will be some rough spots in their journey, but I know they are on the right path.
Prayers and mentoring are still needed, but with God's help, all will be fine.
When we left their house that day, we all held hands and said the Lord's Prayer together as a family. Thank you Father for your prayers, and please keep praying for all of us. |
