Dear Father,
Thank you for remembering my birthday. What a wonderful surprise!
Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal has been watching over me and mine for many years.
I have been wearing the same medal I purchased in 1960 after my husband and I were married.
I have to tell you how my husband and I met. I used to go to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral during my lunch hour and say a prayer in our Lady’s Chapel.
It may sound silly now, but I always asked her to send me someone who would be a good husband. I also used to attend a Sunday night dance at a local Catholic church on occasion.
Well, this one particular night someone tapped me on the shoulder and when I turned around, I was looking straight into a tie tack with the image of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. We have been married for 47 years now. Our Lady really hand delivered my husband to me.
Our Lady has been with me always. I enroll almost everyone I know in the Miraculous Medal Association.
