Dear Father,

This thank-you note is past due. I send my prayers of thanksgiving to our Blessed Mother for saving my husband.

Two years ago, my husband and I were visiting my daughter in New York. Early one morning my husband had a heart attack. He initially refused to go to the hospital and was in denial that he was having a heart attack.

I put a Miraculous Medal around his neck immediately and prayed to our Blessed Mother to take care of him. We eventually got him to the hospital and after he had bypass surgery, the doctor said it was a miracle he survived. I know our Blessed Mother saved his life.

The second letter is from Arizona.

Dear Father,

A year ago, a dear friend asked me to pray for her 11-year-old granddaughter who had curvature of the spine, and whose future was rather grim.

Every day I prayed fervently to our Blessed Mother and at my request, you lit Votive Lights for her at our Lady’s Shrine.

Just recently, my friend told me that the doctor had examined the youngster and there was no evidence of a curvature of her spine at all. Everything was normal.

I want to thank our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for her intercession.
