This letter is via email.

Dear Father,

My husband and I have been having marital problems for the past couple of years. We went through counseling five months ago and while it worked for a little while, things eventually returned to their old ways.

Finally, I was ready to give up and leave. I told my husband I wanted to leave and take the children.

From that day forward, I began talking with people about my situation. Most of them said that I was right in wanting to leave and I deserved better, but three friends told me I should stay with my husband and try to save our marriage.

It was then that I began praying for the salvation of my marriage. At this point, my husband decided he wanted to leave and did not want to be with me anymore. I tried to do everything to make things perfect, but nothing worked. I was lost.

One day at work a coworker said he'd like to help. He and his wife had been through a similar situation, and had separated for a while. Our Lady's intercession brought them back together. He had his wife call me, and she talked to me about the rosary novenas she had prayed and several other things they had done to try to save their marriage, and she hoped would save ours.

That very day I could honestly feel the Holy Spirit and our Blessed Mother holding my hand and preparing me for the journey I am on now. My faith has been renewed. The next day this friend gave me the materials I needed to start my journey.

The following day I started my rosary novena of 54 days for Mary's intercession for the salvation of my marriage. Ironically, this was the day of our ninth wedding anniversary. Although we did not celebrate due to the circumstances, I was not saddened because I knew our Blessed Mother had a plan.

I don't know what will become of my marriage, but I do know that I can only pray that God's will be done.

My friend also gave me a Miraculous Medal that I wear around my neck, and every time I touch it, it reminds me how our Blessed Mother answered my initial prayers and brought this friend to me to teach me and give me the tools I needed to try and salvage my marriage.

I know this is a long testimony, but I just had to share it. God bless.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
