Dear Father,

My two wonderful brothers are free from cancer and doing well for their ages. Last Friday my oldest brother was scheduled to have a blood transfusion since his platelets were very low, and he had very few red blood cells left.

Of course, they did a blood test on him first. The doctor was shocked to see a great increase in platelets and red blood cells, to the point where there was no need for a blood transfusion. My brother was so relieved to hear this. He called me to reassure me that my prayers had helped him and surely, it was a miracle. He was so happy, we both cried.

Would you believe that the younger brother (who is 95) had almost the same thing happen to him when he was checked at the cancer center-they could not find any trace of the cancer. My two brothers are so amazing.

Both my brothers are so saintly, I think our dear Lord is keeping them on this earth as they are so needed.

The second letter is from Illinois.

Dear Father,

I wrote last year to have Votive Lights burned at our Lady's Shrine for my three-year-old great-grandson who had been diagnosed with brain cancer.

We were so upset. We began a prayer chain, and sent petitions to Mary's Shrine asking for remembrance in the Masses and prayers there.

Father, today we are all so happy. God spared our darling child. He will be 5 years old next March, and is doing fine. The doctors gave him a clean bill of health, and told us there is no sign of any cancer cells in him.

I'm 88 years old and all my life I have confided in our Lady.
