This letter is from Louisiana.

Dear Father,

I would like to thank our Lord and our Blessed Mother on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law. My brother-in-law was diagnosed with colon cancer. Being a member of our Lady's Association, I sent him a Miraculous Medal and enrolled him in the Association. He put his medal on and wears it to this day.

My sister began praying the novena to our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. My brother-in-law had surgery and six months of mild chemotherapy. We thought he was fine. About a year later, a CT scan showed cancer in his pelvic area and on his liver. He underwent two more surgeries and six months of intensive chemotherapy.

Throughout all of this, he had little pain, healed quickly, and had no hair loss or nausea. He continues to amaze his doctors who maintain that much pain medication is normally required with the type of surgeries he had, as well as from the side effects from the chemotherapy.

Once during his chemotherapy a nurse discovered that a six-inch section of his medi-port tube had broken off. After some tests, they found it lodged in his heart.

With another surgery, they were able to remove it right away. His doctor told him that if the tube had moved again it could have caused a heart attack or gone into his lungs and possibly killed him.

We all believe that the Lord and his Blessed Mother sent this angel nurse to him!

During this entire ordeal, my brother-in-law has maintained a very positive attitude. From the very beginning, he placed his fate in the hands of our Lord and his Blessed Mother.

And the best news of all, his most recent report showed him to be cancer free! He is quick to give God and our Lady all the credit.

We all wish to express our thanks to our Lord and to our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for all the graces, favors, and blessings given to us.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
